Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

I can't believe it is already September 2012!! Where has the time gone?? It seems to be flying by faster, the older I get. My toes and fingers are teal for Ovarian Cancer Awareness month and I'm wearing my awareness T-Shirt and if I could, I would shout from the roof-tops to listen to your body. Ovarian Cancer is a silent killer; it whispers so you need to listen.

What are your plans for the month? Would you be willing to paint your toes teal to raise awareness? You know you want a pedicure anyway!

Let me know what you're planning.

  1. Thank you for your blog and helping to increase the awareness of ovarian cancer. I invite you to my website

    1. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I would love to read more about your journey. I visited your website and I'm going to order a book.

  2. I will just have to go for the teal manicure, then! I would like to ask, What is the most common presenting symptom of ovarian cancer? It is unfortunate that the CA-125 is not useful as a screening tool and I'm wondering what more we can do to promote Women's Health. Would love to see you visit my site also, as it is new. 1. Of course! That would be wonderful if you would show your support with a teal manicure.

The number one symptom that my Mom had was the abdominal bloating and lack of appetite. I'm sure it is different with each woman, as well as the fact that the "symptoms" aren't usually recognized early enough.

Here's the link to my blog post about the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer.

I will definitely stop by and visit your website.

  3. Hi,

I have a quick question about your blog, would you mind emailing me when you get a chance?
